I'm a country girl, you know. It all started many, many years ago when I was, I think, around 3 years old. My father had taken a job that was going to last for around six months. Instead of having him go alone, my parents decided to take my sister and I and we would all go. We lived in a little village called Shepshed, near Loughborough in Leicestershire. We lived in a caravan on a farm, in a field full of cows and I loved it! I fell in love with the country and decided that I wanted to live somewhere like that one day. Yes, even at three years old; though I doubt I actually put the thought into words. It was just a feeling that I loved living there. (If you know the place, it was a village in the 1960's. It seems to be more of a town now.)
I grew up in a small town that was not far from a larger town, and so, not far from a city. But I always knew that I wanted something different. And now I live in a hamlet of only 12 houses, around four miles from our largest town, Aberystwyth. We live among sheep farms, in just about the most sparsley populated part of the UK. I'd rather live somewhere even more remote, but we do have some restrictions. We don't have a car, so we have to live where there are 'buses. But we do have a good-sized garden, and we keep hens. There are red kites flying overhead, and buzzards, owls and other birds of prey, as well as lots of little ones. And all sorts of animals and wildlife. It's about as countryfied as I'm going to get.
As for the rest, about who I am...I am 60-something; married; grown up daughter; two cats and two hens; live in Wales; Pagan; addicted to the 'net. You can sort out the rest through looking around my site.
